Client Advocacy: Why It Matters
Normally in August, you would find the team preparing for our Client Appreciation Night to say thank you to all of our client advocates. But as we know by now, this year is not like the others.
What is client advocacy and why is it important?
At Chatterton & Associates, we aim to meet our clients where they are right now, and together, we take actionable steps to get them to where they want to be. We want to make our clients’ financial lives simpler and smoother no matter the situation. Whether you’re looking to invest for the first time, wanting to save college funds for your child, nearing your retirement, or taking steps to make sure that your legacy is preserved for future generations, we want to be there for every financial milestone.
We believe in the power of long-term relationships with our clients, which is why we’re so thrilled when our clients become an advocate on our behalf. Client advocates are those people who love what Chatterton has provided to them so much that they refer others to us. (If you’re wondering just how much referrals matter, statistics have shown that 92% of people trust recommendations from friends and family over other methods.)
What happens on Client Appreciation Night?
Client Appreciation Night is often the highlight of the summer - take a look to see all the fun we’ve had during past events in our video resource center. We’ve held a Casino Night, taken a harbor cruise, enjoyed improv comedy, and attended the Pageant of the Masters together. We’re looking forward to the next time that we can share such a memorable experience in person with all of you, but in the meantime, we’re looking into virtual and social-distancing opportunities so that we can keep everyone safe and healthy. If you have any suggestions for what you would like to see, don’t hesitate to let us know!
What if I want to become a client advocate for Chatterton & Associates?
Becoming a client advocate on behalf of Chatterton & Associates is easy. If you know someone who would benefit from our services, simply have your referral make and attend an appointment for a Proactive Financial Review, an in-depth analysis of their financial wellbeing (we’re happy to set up a virtual meeting!). Make sure your referral gives your name when asked how they heard about us. Your recommendations are so important to us; it is proof that you believe in us as much as we believe in you.
If you have any questions about client advocacy, please reach out to us.
Sincerely,
Chatterton & Associates
